A poem by Jabi Santa Cruz-en poema bat

DOWN THERE. UP HERE

Down there, deep down,
executioners, cities.
Down there, deep down,
noises, sirens.
Down there, deep down,
concerns, cries.
Up here,
traces, scents.
Up here,
tracks, guesses.
Up here,
a piece of peace.

BEHEAN. GOIAN

Behean, oso behean,
borreroak, hiriak.
Behean, oso behean,
harrabotsak, sirenak.
Behean, oso behean,
arrangurak, oihuak.
Hemen goian
zantzuak, usainak.
Hemen goian
aztarnak, susmoak.
Hemen goian,
bakea apur batean.
